This is the 49th year of the existence of Vivekanand Arts, Sardar Dalipsingh Commerce & Science College, Aurangabad. Founded in 1971, the College is moving briskly pacing forward with the help of advanced infrastructure and scholastic faculty.
The College was established in 1971 by the great educationist and a visionary Late Pandharinath Patil alias ‘Bhau’. He always struggled to make the College a better institute offering different courses to uplift those students who hardly had any resources of educating themselves. Keeping in mind Bhau’s vision, the College has always been aiming at reaching to the under- privileged students mainly from rural area; with a variety of traditional and professional courses. As a result, major flow of the students getting enrolled in the College is from rural area more particularly from the districts including Aurangabad, Beed, Jalna and Buldhana. Apart from these districts, there are considerable number of students getting admitted in the College from different parts of Maharashtra.

About Sanstha
To take the stream of Knowledge to the rural area and to the deprived and Bahujan Society, Late Pandharinath Patil Dhakephalkar alias, ‘Respected Bhau’ founded this Organization in the year 1946. The inception of this organization was in a very backward area like Chauraha with the establishment of Maratha High school. Little by little the Ganga of knowledge started to flow through Aurangabad and Jalna. Today this organization Maratha Shikshan Sanstha has been named after Great hero Vivekananda as ‘Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha’. This little sapling has turned into a mammoth tree. Along with education, the noble, motive of the institution is to imbibe patriotism as well as scientific and technical attitude in the students so that they can withstand the challenges waiting in this 21 century. One can see the outcome of this noble motive in the form of our students venturing in various fields with success.
